Black Saddle Grouper

The Black Saddle Grouper, also known as Black Saddled Grouper, or Saddled Grouper, is primarily white in color. The fins are yellow, and black to brown dots often cover the entire body. The back has four black to brown saddles.

A 250 gallon or larger aquarium is required due to the size and feeding habits of this fish. It is extremely aggressive and may eat its tank mates as well as crustaceans.

The Black Saddle Grouper prefers a diet of meaty foods such as krill, shrimp, and other small fish.
