LiveAquaria® CCGC Aquacultured Grape Cristata Coral

The LiveAquaria® Captive Grown Grape Cristata is sure to make a beautiful addition to any reef aquarium. This large polyp stony (LPS) coral features tightly-clustered vibrant grape like polyps. Similar to Frogspawn coral, the LiveAquaria® Captive Grown Grape Cristata has distinctively tighter polyp groupings which are visible throughout the day and night.

During evening time, its sweeper tentacles can extend up to six inches beyond its base into the reef aquarium surroundings. It can sting neighboring corals; therefore, it is best to provide plenty of room between itself and other types of corals. The Live Aquaria® Captive Grown Grape Cristata requires moderate to high lighting combined with medium water movement within the aquarium. For continued good health, it will also require the addition of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.

LiveAquaria® Aquacultured Coral frags are mounted to a fired ceramic plug that can be affixed to live rock anywhere in the aquarium with gel super glue or epoxy.
