Pastel Ring Wrasse 3.25" WYSIWYG
Description
The Pastel Ring Wrasse Hologymnosus doliatus is known by several other names: the Candy Cane Wrasse, Longface Wrasse, and the Ringed Rainbowfish. Changing colors throughout their life, our juvenile Pastel Ring Wrasse is white with red stripes.
This Wrasse is a good candidate for a fish-only marine aquarium with fish larger than it is because it will see crustaceans and other inverts as food. A lidded aquarium with rocks or other places to hide will make a good environment for the Pastel Ring Wrasse. A deep sandy substrate will provide not only a place to sleep, but a place to hide to escape danger.
This member of the Labridae family is a carnivore and its diet should include meaty frozen and dry food, Mysis shrimp and brine shrimp.
